Zeekr opens order books, from under RM180k for Zeekr X SUV and RM370k for Zeekr 009 MPV

Zeekr, an all-new automotive brand in the Malaysia market is now accepting bookings for two models, the Zeekr X compact electric SUV and the Zeekr 009 MPV. The indicative pricing for the Zeekr X is below RM180,000 while the Zeekr 009, is anticipated to be below RM370,000.

Zeekr X SUV

The X is available in two variants, the rear wheel drive Premium and the Flagship AWD.

The Flagship AWD is the top of the line and a dual motor producing 422 bhp. 0-100km/h acceleration is 3.8 seconds. The Premium variant meanwhile, is powered by a single rear motor (rear wheel drive) that produces 268 bhp and has a 0-100km/h time of 5.6 seconds. The X has a 66kWh battery and 150kW DC charging, and is capable of charging from 10 per cent to 80 per cent in 30 minutes.

There are five exterior colours:

Crystal White
Mist Grey
Grid Grey
Palace Beige
Pine Green

All with the option of Charcoal Black and Stone Grey interior trim.

The X has five-star Euro NCAP AND Green NCAP ratings. Both variants have an extensive range of active and passive integrated safety protection features including seven Air Bags; 360° Camera; and Digital Video Record (DVR).

Zeekr 009 MPV

The Zeekr 009 MPV will be the most powerful MPV in the market. The all-wheel drive has two motors with a combined output of 603bhp and 693Nm of torque. The 0-100km/h time is 4.5 seconds.

The 116kWh battery gives a WLTP range of 582km. The 150kW DC charger recharges from 10 per cent to 80 per cent in 30 minutes.

Two variants will be available, Luxury with seven-seats and Ultra Luxury with six-seats.

Equipment includes 12-way adjustments memory seats for the driver and front passenger, massage function and ventilation. Meanwhile, the second row passenger seats have a 1.1-meter Ultra Long Electric Slide Rail for adjustments. The front passenger seat position can also be adjusted from the second row. The 009 comes with Sofaro First Class Aeronautic seats. The second row comes equipped with independent wide armrests with seat adjustment controls; adjustable leg rest; seat ventilation, massage and memory functions; and third row one-button electric easy entry and exit function.

The cockpit and cabin features a 10.25-inch full HD LCD meter cluster and 35.95-inch augmented reality (AR) head up display for the driver; 15.05-inch OLED touch screen infotainment system; 17-inch OLED roof mounted screen; second row door Smartbar screen; 30 YAMAHA surround luxury speakers with loudspeakers in the seat headrests; 50W mobile phone wireless charging; 9 USB Type C ports; CarPlay and Android Auto Connected Service System; and face recognition driver monitoring system (DMS) to monitor driver fatigue.

Headlights are intelligent Matrix LED projection with Adaptive Driving Beam (ADB) and Intelligent Zoning Lighting. There are also LED daytime running lights.

Like the X, the 009 also comes standard with a comprehensive suite of Vehicle Guard/Vehicle Safety Protection System that includes a 360° camera; and digital video recording.

For controlled ride and comfort, the 009 has an intelligent four-wheel drive system with a double-wishbone multi-link independent suspension set-up with electromagnetic vibration-damping technology air suspension and an automatic levelling function. The vehicle is rated at a low 64.5 dB noise level at 120km/h.
