New Kia Carnival available in seven-seater or 11-seater configurations
The new Kia Carnival is now available in Malaysia. The MPV was previously offered in six, seven and 11-seater configurations. For the facelifted Kia Carnival, Kia Sales Malaysia has consolidated the range into two variants, seven and 11-seaters. The gearbox and gearbox remain the same as before, a 2.2-litre turbocharged diesel engine that produces 202PS and 440Nm of torque, paired with eight-speed automatic transmission. The Kia Carnival is front-wheel drive.
The front has been updated with a new grille, new headlights, new front bumper and new rear lights. Inside the seven seater is arranged in a 2-2-3 seating layout with Premium Relaxation seats with a lateral slide function to ease access to the rear, third row. The third row seats also fold flat for additional cargo space.
Meanwhile the 11 seater has a 2-3-3-3 configuration. In the second and third rows, the middle seats are folding jump seats to make access easier to the fourth row. The fourth row folds flat for cargo space.

- High Beam Assist (HBA)
- Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist (BCA)
- Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist (RCTA)
- Rear Occupant Alert (ROA)
In addition, there are eight air bags including a new centre-side airbag that prevents secondary collision between front-seat passengers in the event of an impact.

The new Kia Carnival comes with a five-year / 150,000 km warranty (whichever comes first).
