volvocars.com/my/cars/es90-electric. The electric saloon is assembled in Shah Alam. Details of the launch, range of variants and pricing to come. Those who register early receive a 2% incentive on the new Volvo ES90. The incentive is limited to the first 100 units booked between now and 31 March 2026.

Patricia Yaw, Sales & Marketing Director of Volvo Car Malaysia shares: “This year, as we mark 60 years since Volvo established its presence in Malaysia, it is especially meaningful to commemorate this milestone with the local assembly of the Volvo ES90, our first fully electric sedan. Built on six decades of experience, customer insight, and ongoing innovation, the ES90 reflects how far we have grown and evolved as a brand. Most importantly, it represents our lasting commitment to the Malaysian customers who have supported and inspired us over the years”.

The Volvo ES90’s Scalable Platform Architecture 2 (SPA2) platform with an 800-volt electrical system enables ultra-fast charging. DC charging is up to 350 kW with recharging from 10 to 80 percent in approximately 22 minutes1. Ten minutes charging gives 300 km of range. It delivers up to 333PS (328hp) and 480 Nm of torque, with an estimated WLTP range of up to 651km on a single charge2.

In addition, the ES90 has the Superset tech stack. Volvo’s unified system of hardware and software modules allow the car to continuously improve throughout its lifecycle via over-the-air updates

Also, the Volvo ES90 will feature a NVIDIA DRIVE AGX Orin computing system – the first in any Volvo. This is the most powerful Volvo ever in terms of processing capacity. The computing system is the foundation for next-generation safety intelligence, AI integration, and data-driven optimisation for safety and driving experience.
