Carro Malaysia moves into new car sales with MOU signing with Zeekr
Carro Malaysia is now an authorised dealer for Zeekr cars in Malaysia, following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Carro and Zeekr.
The Zeekr dealership is in Carro’s flagship store in Puchong. It marks Carro’s first foray into the brand new car market in Malaysia where Carro is better known as Asia Pacific’s largest online automotive marketplace for used cars. In March 2025, Carro in Singapore started selling parallel-imported new cars, supported by in-house warranties and aftersales services by Carro Care as well as in-house financing by Genie Financial Services.
Zeekr car buyers in Malaysia can look forward to greater accessibility and more than the standard dealer warranty. Carro provides end-to-end services including financing, aftersales and insurance services with Genie Financial Services, Carro Care and Coverro respectively.
Currently there are two Zeekr Space outlets, located in Petaling Jaya and and IOI Mall Puchong. In addition, there are plans to open four new Zeekr Space showrooms and three new authorised Carro Care workshops in partnership with Carro.
Zeekr launched in Malaysia in December 2024 with two models: the 009 MPV and the X model SUV.
The Zeekr 009 is available in 3 variants:
- Executive (7-Seater FWD), RM310,000 (for first 500 bookings)
- Luxury (7-Seater AWD), RM349,800
- Ultra Luxury, RM359,800
The Zeekr X is available in 2 variants:
- Premium, RM155,800
- Flagship, RM 172,800
