GAC Aion Y Plus available in two trim levels, Elite & Premium
GAC Aion Y Plus made its debut at the media preview of the Malaysia Autoshow 2024. The all-new electric SUV from GAC is available in Elite and Premium trim levels priced at RM119,800 and RM135,800 respectively.
The full charge range from the Aion Y Plus is 490km. For AC charging, the maximum is 6.6kW while for DC charging, it’s 80kW. A 63.2kW lithium ion phosphate (LFP) battery powers the 150kW motor. Maximum output is 201bhp and 225Nm of torque with a zero to hundred time of 8.5 seconds.
There are four drive modes with an i-Pedal single pedal driving mode.
Standard safety features in both variants include

- 360º view monitor
- tyre pressure monitoring system
In addition, the Premium comes with Level 2 ADAS with
- Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Stop & Go function

- Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB)
- Lane-Departure Warning (LDW)
- Lane-Keeping Assist (LKA)

Both Elite and Premium are fitted with

- 14.6-inch touchscreen infotainment monitor with Apple CarPlay

The GAC AION Y Plus is available in seven exterior colour options with five interior colour ways which are independent of the exterior choices. This provides buyers with up to 35 interior-exterior combinations.
The comprehensive warranty and after-sales packages include:
- 8 Years/160,000 KM base vehicle warranty
- 8 Years/200,000 KM EV battery, Drive Motor and Electric Control warranty

Deliveries of the GAC AION Y Plus Elite will start in June 2024 while the higher-end Premium will be from July 2024 onwards.
