Kia EV6 GT-Line with AWD, 506km range and ADAS.
The Kia EV6 GT-Line has arrived in Malaysia. The all-wheel drive vehicle is Kia’s first dedicated BEV produced with the all-new Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP). It comes with a dual-motor AWD power delivery and 77.4 kWh battery that delivers an estimated driving range of up to 506km on a single charge (WLTP-cycle, results may vary according to temperature, driving conditions and driving style) and comes equipped with a wide range of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems.
The high-voltage 77.4 kWh battery has a maximum 605 Nm torque and top speed of 185 km/h, and can accelerate from 0 – 100 km/h in just 5.2 seconds. The 77.4 kWh battery pack is paired dual electric motor powering the front and rear axles of the vehicle.
In addition, the Integrated Charging Control Unit (ICCU) charging system enables the vehicle-to-load (V2L) function – discharging energy from the vehicle’s battery – effectively turning the EV6 into a powerbank on wheels. The V2L function can supply up to 3.6 kWh of power and is capable of operating electronic items.
The interior is equipped with state-of-the-art technology that enhances safety, connectivity and infotainment, ergonomically designed to make travelling safer, easier and less frustrating. There is a 12.3-inch the seamless high-tech curved infotainment screen. The infotainment system features Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless smartphone charging and multi-Bluetooth connectivity along with a 14-speaker Meridian surround audio system. The audio system has been tuned by the experts specifically for the EV6 to create natural, lifelike audio on the move.
The seats are lightweight, contemporary and slim, with fabrics created from recycled plastics. In addition, the EV6 has a large cabin storage area of 520 litres with the second-row seat in place. The car also features a front trunk which provides up to an additional 20 litres storage.
