2021 Toyota Innova will be available in three trim levels
The 2021 Toyota Innova range has updated styling and features and additional safety systems as standard. Customers can place bookings for the new Innova now. The MPV will be available in three variants:
- Toyota Innova 2.0X – from RM129,677.00
- Toyota Innova 2.0G – from RM121,483.00
- Toyota Innova 2.0 E – from RM111,622.00
The 2021 Innova has been updated with cosmetic changes at the front end. The 2.0X and 2.0G grille is chrome and black while the door mirrors have chrome housings and integrated turn signals. The foglamps and foglamp bezels also have a new design. In addition, the 2.0X has exclusive styling enhancements: new wheel arch mouldings, new bodyside mouldings and redesigned side skirts.
The lightweight 17-inch alloy rims of the Innova 2.0X are now in Dark Mica Metallic instead of black. Meanwhile, the rims on the Innova 2.0G are a new design. In addition, the 2.0G gets a restyled garnish on the back door, while the roof spoiler has been reprofiled to improve aerodynamics.
The large and bright 9-inch capacitive touchscreen for the infotainment system also serves as a display for the Panoramic View Monitor (PVM) which is now standard for the Innova 2.0X and Innova 2.0G. The PVM display was a 2D view but is now a 3D view so the driver has a better all-around view of the vehicle and its surroundings.
There are now more charging ports with an additional USB port in the third row. The front two USB ports have been repositioned in the dashboard from the centre console. All the ports are Fast Charging. A wireless charging pad located in the centre console is also available as an option which can be included at the time of booking.
The Blind Spot Monitor (BSM) with Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA) systems are now standard for the Innova 20X and Innova 2.0G. BSM continuously scans the blind zone towards the rear side of the vehicle, alerting the driver of a vehicle nearby. RCTA is useful when reversing out of a parking back as it can detect vehicles approaching from either side and alert the driver of a dangerous situation.
The 2021 Toyota Innova range qualifies for the maximum 5-star ASEAN NCAP rating. There are seven airbags. Third row occupants have a 3-point auto-retracting seatbelt. All variants have ABS with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist (BA), as well as Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) with Traction Control (TRC), Emergency Stop Signal (ESS) and Hill-start Assist Control (HAC).
Besides For additional security, there is also Toyota Vehicle Telematics System (VTS) to track the vehicle’s movements using GPS and GSM technology.
Six exterior colours are available– Medium Silver Metallic, Attitude Black Mica, Phantom Brown, Silver Metallic, Super White II and Bronze Mica Metallic (new). The Innova 2.0X is also available in Crimson Spark Red Metallic.
