2021 Mazda CX-3 upgraded with new features

2021 Mazda CX-3 has updated connectivity, new upholstery and added i-Activsense safety features

The 2021 Mazda CX-3 has new features. The upgrade comes less than two years after the facelift and features update in 2018.

The latest updates are Apple CarPay and Android Auto, new leatherette-fabric seats, and a 360-degree view monitor as standard. The sun roof which was taken out in the 2018 midlife refresh, has been reinstated. There are now four front sensors, when previously there were two.

In addition to Blind Spot Monitoring with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, the i-Activsense advanced safety system now also has:

  • High Beam Control (HBC)
  • Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS)
  • Driver Attention Alert (DAA)
  • Smart City Brake Support (SCBS) for the Front & Rear.

The compact SUV has a 2.0-litre naturally aspirated engine which produces 154bhp and 206Nm of torque. The transmission is a six-speed automatic and there is Mazda G-Vectoring Control technology. There are LED exterior lights, front and rear and 18-inch alloy wheels.

Standard equipment in the interior:

  • Active Driving Display
  • seven-inch full-colour touchscreen display with Mazda Connect
  • Bluetooth hands-free phone and audio
  • six-speaker audio system

Safety equipment include six SRS Airbags (Front Driver & Passenger, Side and Curtain), Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), Traction Control System (TCS), Emergency Stop Signal (ESS), and Hill Launch Assist (HLA).

The colours available are: Soul Red Crystal, Snowflake White Pearl, Deep Crystal Blue, Machine Gray, and a new colour, Polymetal Gray.

The 2021 Mazda CX-3 comes with five years Manufacturer Warranty and five years Free Maintenance according to manufacturer’s standards inclusive of labour, parts and lubricants. Both Manufacturer Warranty and Free Maintenance have a coverage period of five years and a mileage limit of 100,000km, whichever comes first.

Order books have opened for the 2021 Mazda CX-3 which will be arriving in July which starts from RM130,729 after 50 per cent sales tax reduction. The price is valid until June 2021. The 2021 Mazda CX-3 is imported from Japan.
