Order books open nationwide ahead of launch of all-new Honda Accord in Q1 2020
Honda Malaysia is now taking orders for the 10th generation Honda Accord. The all-new model will launch in the first quarter of this year with a 1.5-litre, 198bhp, 260Nm turbocharged engine. It will be the first turbocharged Japanese mass-market D-segment saloon available in Malaysia. The full suite of Honda Sensing, autonomous safety features, will also be fitting, consisting of:
Driver Cruising Aid
1. Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)
2. Low Speed Follow (LSF)
3. Auto High-Beam (AHB)
Frontal Collision Deterrence
1. Forward Collision Warning (FCW)
2. Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS)
Side Collision Deterrence
1. Lane Keep Assist System (LKAS)
2. Road Departure Mitigation (RDM)
3. Lane Departure Warning (LDW)
In addition there will also be Smart Parking Assist System with Brake Assist (Rear), Multi View Camera System (360° Camera) and Honda LaneWatch
Standard safety features across all variants will be six airbags, Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD), Emergency Stop Signal (ESS), Hill Start Assist (HSA), front and rear parking sensors together with Multi-angle Rearview Camera.
There will also be full LED headlights and taillights, twin tailpipe chrome finisher and Honda 18” alloy wheels with road noise-reducing resonators.
