The limited-run Ford Ranger XLT 2.2L Special Edition features smartphone integration with exterior styling tweaks priced at RM120,888
Sime Darby Auto ConneXion (SDAC) unveiled the New Ford Ranger XLT 2.2L Special Edition in Malaysia with only limited units will be available for sale throughout the country.
Only available in Arctic White and Absolute Black, the New Ford Ranger XLT 2.2L Special Edition comes fitted with fender flares, a rear view camera and a functional tonneau cover. Another identifying feature are the geometrical decals on each side.
The in-truck infotainment system features an upgraded large nine-inch touchscreen display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto that supports mobile applications such as Spotify, Waze, YouTube and Google Chrome, making travelling more enjoyable and convenient via hotspot connectivity.
Priced at RM120,888 for Peninsular Malaysia and RM126,388 for Sabah and Sarawak (on-the-road, without insurance), the New Ford Ranger XLT 2.2L Special Edition is currently on display at all Ford showrooms in Peninsular Malaysia. For East Malaysia, the truck will make its first public appearance at showrooms during the third week of December.
Powering the Special Edition Ranger is Ford’s Duratorq 2.2L turbodiesel engine making 158 bhp and 385 Nm or torque. The engine is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.
Besides the new decals and exterior features, the limited-run Ranger XLT comes with many of its standard features such as:
