The Ferrari 812 Superfast has arrived in Malaysia just days before Round 5 of the Ferrari Challenge Asia Pacific 2017 at Sepang on 27th August. The V12, 6.5-litre front-engined, rear-wheel drive supercar is just the latest in Ferrari’s long, continuous history of producing 12-cylinder mills and supersedes the F12 Berlinetta as the most powerful production Ferrari. The Superfast produces 800bhp and 718Nm of torque and comes with seven-speed dual clutch transmission as standard.
New in the Ferrari 812 Superfast are electric power steering, the latest version, 5.0, of Ferarri’s Side Slip Control and the Virtual Short Wheelbase 2.0 system where the rear wheels turn slightly when cornering to counter oversteer. This gives the advantages of quick handling and manoeuvrability while providing stability and control around corners. Aerodynamics have also been improved, compared to the F12, with downforce increased by 10% overall and in particular, at the rear by 8%.
The 812 Superfast is available in a new colour specially developed for this model and to commemorate Ferrari’s 70th anniversary, Rosso Settantanni.
Ferrari’s latest supercar is being introduced at the base price of RM1,578,800.00 (excluding duty and customisation options).
